چکیده
Photocatalysis is one of the promising processes for developing greener fuels. This work compares a new liquid Cd-based diacetate and CdOx nanoparticles photo-desulfurization diesel. Various tools, including XRD, XPS, TEM, 1H&13C NMR, FTIR, reflectance, photoluminescence, were used characterizing materials. Different parameters, such as irradiation type, catalyst dosage, oxidizing agents, solvent extraction applied. The results showed that, under visible light with linear halogen lamp (LHL), Cd reveals sulfur removal (98.5%) 2 h compared NPs (97.7%) 3 in presence H2O2 acetic acid agents acetonitrile solvent. Under sunlight, content decreased from 11500 ppm to 65 (removal exceeds 99.4% against 98.0% NPs) high-quality properties (aniline point: 91.8 °C, diesel index: 79.8). photo-luminance activity (low intensity) allows reducing electron/hole pair recombination, which maintains stable photocatalytic enhanced elimination organosulfur compounds economical, clean fuel production associated pollution control. recycling spontaneous regeneration make process very attractive. was successfully recycled over six cycles.

Hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant agent was used for desulfurization of a petroleum hydrocarbon fraction (C10-C22) with boiling range of 175-375 ℃, (light fuel oil) in the presence of acetic acid as catalyst. The oxidation was performed in an ultrasonic bath. It is found that increasing the amount of hydrogen peroxide lead to increase the oxidation rate and so desulfurizatio...

The new requirements for sulfur content in liquid fuels demand the use of novel deep desulfurization processes. 4-methyldibenzothiophene, 4,6dimethyldibenzothiophene and their alkyl-substituted derivatives are the key substances that need to be separated from diesel fuel and fuel oil. These compounds require higher hydrogen consumption in the hydrodesulfurization process and the use of addition...
